Our staff eats, drinks, and sleeps lacrosse 24/7. We have many years of experience in doing lacrosse events and travel teams and know what it takes to create a great experience for families.


Will Kirkpatrick

Will Kirkpatrick has previously played at the High School, elite club, JUCO, and NCAA DII levels. As a player, Will was a 2 time All-State and US Lacrosse All-American at Arrowhead High School. He continued into College playing at Howard Community College in Maryland, and University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has coached at the JV and Varsity level for high school, and the elite club level as well. He is now an Assistant Coach at Waukesha West high school.


Alec Kirkpatrick

As a player, Alec was a multiple All-Conference and 2nd Team All-State player at Arrowhead High School. He continued his career into NCAA Division II powerhouse Colorado Mesa University. He then moved across the country to Maryland to play for Howard Community College. He Now is being recruited to play in the NCAA once again. Alec has several years coaching experience at both the High School and elite club levels.


Mike Ruggiero

Mike grew up in North Olmsted Ohio, graduating from North Olmsted High School in 2010. He played his high school lacrosse for both St. Edward and Brunswick High Schools, making one OHSAA Regional Championship and two Final Four appearances, while earning three varsity letters over his four year career.

Mike brings a wide range of experience as both a player and coach.  As a player, Mike started his collegiate career in Salisbury, NC at Catawba College (NCAA Division II), serving as a redshirt freshman. He then transferred to Mercyhurst Northeast (NJCAA) in Northeast, PA and finally finished his career at Castleton University (NCAA Division III) in Castleton, VT.

Mike was a part of a SAC Regular Season & Tournament Championship team at Catawba College in 2011, an NJCAA Tournament participant at Mercyhurst Northeast in 2012, won back to back NAC Regular Season Championships in 2014 & 15, one NAC Tournament Championship in 2015 & earned an AQ into the 2015 NCAA Division III Tournament.

While at Castleton University, Mike’s graduating class (2015) became the winningest class in program history amassing a record of 51-25. During that time the Spartans never lost a regular season, in-conference game and claimed four Regular Season Championships and two Conference Tournament Championships. Mike went on to graduate with a degree in history in 2015.

As a coach, Mike started out as a Varsity Assistant at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire during the 2015/16 season, helping the Bobcats to a league title. He then served as a Volunteer Offensive Assistant at his alma mater, Castleton University, helping the Spartans reach the NAC tournament championship game in 2016/17. Finally, he moved on to SUNY Purchase and served as the Panthers Head Assistant and Head Recruiting Coordinator from 2017 to 2019.

After the 2019 season at SUNY Purchase, Mike served as Director for True Lacrosse Wisconsin & Wisconsin Mammoth Box Selects from 2019 – 2021 and currently serves as the Head Varsity and JV Coach at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales. Mike is also the Co-Owner, General Manager and Forward for the Milwaukee Muskies, a semi-professional box lacrosse team playing in the Great Plains Box Lacrosse League (GPBLL). The Muskies won the inaugural GPBLL Championship in 2020.


Austin Kreinz


Austin Kreinz joins our coaching staff with years of high school and college experience both coaching and playing. He was a high school All-American and captain at the Portsmouth Abbey School In R.I. Throughout high school, he conducted player development camps in Wisconsin in the summer and winter months while coaching the New England Top 150 summer lacrosse camp.

Playing Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Pennsylvania, he appeared in every single game and record 19 points. He was a freshman on the 2014 Ivy League Championship team. During his senior year, he was chosen to be captain and played in the North/South All-Star Game.

Alex Jamieson

Alex is a 2015 Graduate of Arrowhead High school. He was a member of the varsity lacrosse team for four years. He has played in two state championship games: first as a freshman in 2012, and again as a senior in 2015. While at Arrowhead he earned All-Conference and All-State honors. As a senior he was also named All-American.

After high school he attended Trine University. He was a four year starter playing close defense on the team. He was a two time MIAA All-Conference player and named team captain his senior year. He graduated from Trine with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He also earned his Master’s in Business Administration.

In addition to playing lacrosse, Alex is a certified USL official. For the past eight years he has been officiating youth and high school lacrosse games. Recently he has started officiating college games as well.

In his professional life, he is a corporate accountant for a national bank. When not working or involved in lacrosse, he enjoys hiking, hunting and fishing.

Alex is now the Defensive Coordinator for Waukesha West Lacrosse


Turner Kraft

Turner Kraft Graduated from Waukesha West High School in 2016. He played for the Waukesha Lacrosse team and was a three year starter, as well as a two year captain. He has coached since his sophomore year of high school. He has extensive experience in youth lacrosse, and is most recently the offensive coordinator at Waukesha West High School.


Stephen Gregory

Stephen is from Louisville, Kentucky. He has been playing lacrosse since the 8th grade. He played college at Concordia University of Wisconsin and was a 4-year starter. He also was 2-time first team all-conference, 2019 co offensive player of the year for the conference and won the conference championship in 2019. He now helps coach the offense at Homestead high school.  


Nick Rangaard

Nick Randgaard is a graduate of Kettle Moraine High School. There, he played four years of varsity lacrosse and won a state championship in 2019. Nick currently playing lacrosse at NCAA Division II University of Indianapolis. Ranked 10th in Division 2, UIndy has won three consecutive conference titles, and made two consecutive NCAA tournament appearances. Nick has been around the game of lacrosse all his entire life and brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience to Pirate Lacrosse.


Kurth Wittkopf

Kurth has been playing lacrosse since his 7th grade year and went on to Arrowhead high school where he played all four years. In college, Kurth played defense at GLLL University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where he was a starter for three seasons helping UWM be runner-up champions in the 2016 and 2017 Division II seasons as well as winning the Division II GLLL championship in 2018 with undefeated 11- 0 season. Kurth began his coaching career with the Elkhorn youth program in 2016 and help to start Elkhorn’s high school program in 2019. Currently he is the defensive coordinator for the Elkhorn high school varsity team.


Scott Bond

Scott has 5 years of Lacrosse coaching experience, with 2020 being his first as the Head Boys varsity Lacrosse Coach for the Waukesha Nighthawks. Coach Bond has been coaching high school and youth sports since 1997, most recently he is a high school football coach for Waukesha West, a position he has held since 2010. Coach Bond is a graduate of Carroll University in 1996, with a bachelors of science in Fitness management, Minors in coaching and Business. 


Mark Kirkpatrick – General Manager

Mark has 10 years of coaching and administrative experience at both the High School and elite club levels. Mark has been involved in the development and growing the game of lacrosse in Wisconsin. As a lacrosse parent, Mark understands the need to provide parents with high value for their money.


Lisa Kirkpatrick – Team Manager

Lisa has 10 years of experience in administration, travel, and management experience at both the high school and club levels. Lisa is also the coordinator of the Wisconsin High School State Championship game. She knows how to organize and create the best possible experience for players and their families.
